可能有些人會覺得我是不是瘋了
每回出國我總是覺的機會難得
所以都會想盡辦法買些好書回來啃
畢竟台灣的英文小書市場並不是太大
很多在亞馬遜看到鍾意的書
很不幸的台灣都沒進口
也就養成我出國扛書的怪癖出來
平常很少有機會接觸到英國作家的書籍
這會在新加坡買的兩本Cecelia Athern的書
其實我一開始是先從暢銷書籍區搜尋一番
再翻翻內容,挑幾本自己看了有感覺的書來買
就這樣我第一次接觸到Cecelia Ahern的書就被"電"到了
Cecelia Ahern是新崛起的英國女作家
目前她的書籍只有3本
1. PS, I Love You
2. Where Rainbows End
3. If You Could See Me Now
我在新加坡只買到前兩本
兩本書的文章架構非常的不同,讓我見識到這位女作家撰寫文章的功力有多強
他在文章中所用的文字並不是很艱深
對於英文普普的我看起她的書來格外輕鬆
也很容易跟著她文章的劇情安排起起伏伏
尤其是Celenia的第一本書 "PS, I Love You" , 看的我感動到眼淚止不住
PS, I Love You....
故事的開始在女主角Holly失去了她的摯愛Gerry
在親人及姐妹掏的鼓勵下,她的意志還是一直很消沉
整天關在屋子內,啥事都不做
有一天,Holly的媽媽來電告訴她有一個她的包裹寄到他父母親的家
Holly開信後才發現原來在Gerry過世前生病時抱病寫了10封信給她
希望Holly每個月打開一封 (每封信的最後,Gerry都留下一句話"PS, I Love You")
這無非給了Holly一個新的希望,似乎Gerry仍活在這個世上,陪在她的身邊
Holly開始了沒有Gerry的新生活,也開創了一個她重未想過的新生活
整個故事背景雖然沒有瓊瑤式的瘋狂愛戀
但是不難看出樸實的幸福原來就圍繞在我們的周圍
有機會,我真的希望台灣也能引進她的書
